I am using the Python cdsapi package for downloading data from the CDS. The package has several issues that have been reported on the GitHub repository, and there is quite a number of open pull requests. However, none of the maintainers of the package seem to answer them. The last update (a bugfix) of the package happened 2 years ago, and the last substantial update is from November 2020 (see https://github.com/ecmwf/cdsapi/commits/master). Is there any plan to pick up active development of the package again? It is a bit frustrating to see the package being advertised often while nobody seems to maintain it.
