How is land use considered in current set of CORDEX simulations nested to CMIP5 GCMs? Dynamically or statically? Is a change planned once they are nested to CMIP6 GCM that consider combinations of RCPs and SSPs?

The land surfaces and their interactions with the atmosphere are explicitly represented in RCMs by a dedicated part of the model. The land use is taken into account but it is not varying in time. So for example not evolving in projections in the current version of CORDEX simulations. This may come in the next phases of CORDEX as it is the case in Earth System Models in CMIP6
