How to determine and quantify differences between models and how to incorporate this information when analysing / using the ensemble ?
The complete-sub-matrix investigation I showed can be used to look at the importance of non-linear GCM-RCM cross terms. The most important places were places with sea ice, where GCM-imposed ice influences RCM-simulated climate. But I am not sure that structural dependencies are important here.
