T2m hourly comes from analyses. Tmax/min since previous post-processing comes from the short forecast. The choice depends on the use: - Do not mix variables coming from the forecast and analyses - If you have variables from the analyses, better to use them. In this case, to use Tmax and Tmin by estimating if from T2m hourly - better do not mix T2m and Tmax/min from the forecast, often the T2m is outside of the range of Tmax and Tmin max from forecast - However, T2m is the intataneous values whereas Tmax forcast is the max over several steps (better estimation for Tmax).
