Are there plans to release finer grained products and if yes, which products, what will be the scale and on what schedule? Will there be reanalysis products with better resolution?
There is plenty happening downstream of C3S in downscaling data to a higher resolution. An example of what could be done can be found here: https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/dataset/sis-urban-climate-cities?tab=overview . In this case the downscaling was done using a low-complexity model using reanalyses). There are many other options worth considering.
