According to action plan of TT-WSI,  ECMWF has been committed  to run the "Testing Environment".As result of this commitment,  a

  • Sample reports in BUFR with different combinations of traditional and WIGOS station identifiers (including reports that will highlight incorrect assumptions in the processing)
  • End-to-end test to ensure reports reach the end users
  • testing environment includes the exchange, collection, processing and assimilation of Conventional data ( e.g. SYNOP BUFR, TEMP BUFR etc.)
  • Use a incident management system, e.g. based on ECMWF’s confluence
  • ECMWF is happy to support a testing environment on a more ‘operational’ level, considering our capacity to support the project.
