It is my pleasure to announce that Dr Adrian Hill has joined the OpenIFS team at ECMWF with the beginning of this week. Adrian has until recently been employed at the UK Met Office where he worked on cloud microphysics and aerosol-cloud interactions. He is an experienced atmospheric model developer, and he will from now on lead the OpenIFS activities at ECMWF. Adrian is looking forward to getting to know the model user community and you will be able to meet him in person at the next OpenIFS training in 2023 and at the forthcoming User Meetings.
