The feedback channel required for retransmission is disabled by default during the trial phase. This results in reduced availability with logs reporting "Lost X messages during the last 60 seconds". Please enable NAKs and ACKs in coordination with EUMETSAT for optimal availability.
- Request EUMETSAT to enable ACKs for your station by emailing the User Helpdesk (ops@eumetsat.int) and providing 24hrs of tellicast client log files (logs for all applicable services, i.e. ter-1 and ter-2).
- Once good reception has been verified for the client, EUMETSAT will enable the acknowledgements ensuring that the user’s file availability is monitored
