| codes_info | Print information about the version of ecCodes, the definitions and samples paths. If the environment variables ECCODES_DEFINITION_PATH and/or ECCODES_SAMPLES_PATH are defined, then their values will be printed |
| codes_split_file | Split an input file (GRIB, BUFR etc) into chunks of roughly the same size. The output files are named input_01, input_02 etc. This is much faster than grib_copy/bufr_copy. |
