In December 2021, we reported that the updates for the Soil moisture gridded data from 1978 to present dataset in the Climate Data Store (CDS) were suspended due to data processing delays on the provider's side. Unfortunately, due to ongoing technical difficulties, this dataset has not yet been updated since 10 December 2021.
The data provider is actively working at restoring data provision to the CDS this month (January 2022).
We advise our users to "Watch" this announcement to get an email notification when we will update it with the latest information made available to us.
