On January 7th, 2021, we reported that due to unexpected technical issues, the ADS team had to temporarily suspend access to the CAMS European air quality forecast data more than a few days old.
On January 8th, access was restored but with slow data rates for dates more than a few days old.
On January 21st, the ADS team reported that performance to access older (more than 4 days old) forecasts and analyses data from the CAMS Europe Air Quality dataset was degraded with a very high failure rate.
This was because most of this data is hosted by an external organisation which was experiencing a severe strain on their IT resources.
Following our notification on March 1st about the external organisation system upgrade implementation on Tuesday 02 March 2021, from 08:00UTC, we are please to announce that full access to the CAMS European AQ archive has been restored.
