Sentinel-3 OLCI/SLSTR Surface Albedo V3.0 and LAI/fAPAR pre-operational datasets are affected by a geolocation error, coming from TOC reflectances V1 brokered from CGLS.
This error was caused by an erroneous setting in the input reader attributes, resulting in using tie points as basis for projection. Tie points provide a faster but less accurate geolocation compared to using pixel-based geocoding, listing for each pixel the corresponding coordinates. A correction was deployed resulting in a new version V2 of TOC reflectances.
Sentinel-3 Surface Albedo V3.0 and LAI/fAPAR V4.0 will be replaced by an operational version using this new CGLS TOC reflectances V2.
