We are pleased to inform you that the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) at ECMWF has today, Tuesday 28th February 2023, started the Timely Update service for the Copernicus Artic Regional Reanalysis (CARRA) datasets. In practise it means that every end of the month (on the 27th at 3 pm UK time) we are going to update the 4 CARRA datasets adding an additional month to the catalogue entry. The time lag with respect to the real time will be 2-3 months, which means that at the end of February we publish the datasets until the end of December 2022 (in March we will add January 2023 and so on).
Access to the data is available from the Climate Data Store (CDS) either interactively using the webforms:
- Arctic regional reanalysis on height levels from 1991 to present
- Arctic regional reanalysis on pressure levels from 1991 to present
- Arctic regional reanalysis on model levels from 1991 to present
- Arctic regional reanalysis on single levels from 1991 to present
or programmatically using the CDS API service.
For further details, please see the following published web articles:
- Copernicus Arctic Regional Reanalysis data now updated monthly
- New data show a wetter and warmer Arctic.
