Hello! I want to use the ERA5 monthly averaged data on pressure levels from 1961 to 2020, but the premailry version is 1950 to 1978, and the ERA5 monthly averaged data on pressure levels from 1979 to present. Now I want to merge the two datasets, is this okay?

    Hi,

    Yes you can merge the 2 datasets. You should just be aware that the 1950-1978 dataset will be replaced at some point by a new version. Please see this page
